YOGA WITH CLAIRE: GET DOWN WITH YOUR DOG
Ok… so, I totally get the Downward Facing Dog (Adho Mukka Svanasana) can be one of the most challenging postures when you first start yoga. Firstly, because it’s not so easy to understand where you are putting what. It’s also difficult to use your legs and arms properly, so we often end up with a lot of weight and tension in the shoulders and upper body, but also it’s practiced OVER and over again in each class.
I had a few requests from some of my lovely readers (p.s SEND me your requests, I’d love to know what you want to learn) to break down the dog.
This is a super-short video – 2:49 actually, so even if you aren’t beginner you might learn something new in the short time.
