YOGA WITH CLAIRE: BEAT THE CHRISTMAS BLOAT!
I don’t know what your family is like but at my family (and my husband’s) Christmas gatherings there is a stupid amount of food and alot of friendly encouraging (read: bullying) to eat more than you can fit.
So, with that in mind here is a 15 minute yoga sequence to beat the blot! It’s a simple sequence designed to help you relieve that tight, crampy, gassy and bloated feeling you might get after too much turkey, wine, cake, prawns, ham, salad, chocolate… the list goes on!
It’s also about helping everything move and release with more ease. Basically, you are giving you digestive system a hand in working through all that food.
Check out the video and give it a go. Oh and try not to do this straight after eating, give it at least an hour. I know I’ll be doing this sequence tomorrow after lunch (and a lie down).
The poses are all very simple and easy – anyone/all levels can do this.
