SMOOTHIE TIME: GOJI BERRY + RAW MILK SMOOTHIE


Over Easter there were a few celebrations – lots of new beginnings you could say – and that meant a whole lot of EATING.
I tended to skip breakfast knowing the quantity of food I’d be consuming throughout the rest of the day. But by skip I simply mean replace with the yummiest smoothie ever!
I quickly whipped this up each day and you can too.
What you’ll need to make one really large or two smaller smoothies.
  • 2 cups milk (I was using Cleopatra’s Bath Milk – raw, unpasteurized)
  • 1/2 cup goji berries
  • 1-2 bananas
  • 2 tbls coconut oil
  • 1 tbls raw cacao
  • 2 tbls chia seeds
  • 3 tbls homemade yoghurt (from cleo’s)
  • 1 egg (pastured, please!)
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • Ice
Blend and enjoy… even as a takeaway! On a day like today, Anzac Day, when everyone is going to hit the pub for a few drinks and some 2up (and dare I say alot of sausage rolls) then maybe a smoothie would be a good way to kick it off?
