With such beautiful weather in Sydney of late you’d have to be living under a rock not to notice that Spring has arrived. The birds are getting their chirp on a little earlier as the sun is starting to show it’s gorgeous face. The spring winds are coming soon – can you feel them? And there are even the beginnings of spring blooms.

So what does this time of renewal mean for us? It’s time to shake off your winter ways, stretch out that stale, stagnant energy, cleanse from the inside out and step into a new you.

Every season has an important and integral role to play within nature.

Winter is about hibernation and slowing down. And that’s ok. But if you’ve perhaps ‘slowed down’ a little too much it’s time now to rev your engine and get your juices flowing again.

Spring is all about rejuvenation. Detoxing. Cleansing. Reawakening. Feeling alive.

Look at where you need to change it up and perhaps ask yourself a few key questions

  • What is not working for me?
  • How do I want to feel?
  • What do I know works for my body, mind and breath?

The key, in my opinion, is not to focus on ‘weight-loss for bikini-season’. That’s not a bad reason but it’s caught up in an agenda that is coming from a limiting self-belief.

Let’s focus on feeling renewed, energised, alive, fit, healthy, whole, abundant, inspired!

DO THIS: Set yourself 3 KEY INTENTIONS for the season of spring. E.g. More yoga, green smoothies, creative time. Don’t do more than 3, try to avoid overwhelm. It leads to procrastination. Simply give yourself the space to drill down into just three things that are going to have a PROFOUND impact on your health and well-being.

  1. Handful of silverbeet
  2. Handful of ruby chard
  3. 300mls

  5. 1/2 green apple
  6. 2 tbls chia seeds
