Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I have to access each month’s content?

Each month’s content will be available for four weeks, plus TWO bonus week (because let’s face it, life as a mama can be unpredictable!) So that’s six weeks all up.

To break that down for you, what it means is this; from when you sign up the membership site will release a new meditation, podcast, reflective story and affirmation. Four weeks later the following month will be released, the existing content will stay LIVE for another two weeks before being removed so you can begin focusing on the next round of content.

If I want to cancel my membership how do I do that?

We hope you don’t leave us, beautiful mama, but if you must we understand and want to make the process as easy and hassle-free as possible.

Simply email us at hello@thewellnessproject.net.au and we’ll get the admin process started. (Please allow 3-5 business days for the cancellation process to be completed.)

Please note cancellation at anytime is ONLY possible for those on the month-to-month subscription.

This does not include any refund.

For those on the yearly subscription, cancellation is only possible within the first TWO weeks after sign-up. You will receive a refund for the year less one month’s cost. E.g if you purchase the yearly plan at $130, you can cancel within the first two weeks and receive back $117.

You can still cancel if you wish, however, after this point there will not be any refunds possible.

If I want to re-join after cancelling how do I do that?

Simply sign up again, just as you did in the beginning.

Will there be any extra bonuses or goodies?

Yes – we treat our members like gold! Throughout the year, you can expect random surprises, bonuses and extras, just because. Basically, we love you and want you to know it!

How much time do I need to dedicate each month?

As little or as much as you like. Most meditations are 10-15 minutes long. The podcasts are usually 30 minutes long. The rest you can read/review in your own time. We recommend finding 15 minutes a day to meditate if you can, but it’s ok if it’s every second day or less. (And P.S. We’ll be talking a lot about the guilt mothers feel when they prioritise self-care, as well as how to carve out space for yourself when time is tight. So if the thought of finding 10-15 minutes each day causes your stomach to clench up, don’t worry – we’re here to walk you through it.)

I really struggle to quiet my mind. Will this ‘work’ for me?

Meditation, mindfulness and self-love is a muscle that needs to be regularly worked. The more you do, the better you get at embracing stillness. However, meditation is NOT about ‘blissing out’. It’s about creating a still space within and without to detox the mental chatter, to hear your inner voice, to tune in and reconnect. It’s 100% normal if your mind is going at full pelt. Over time you’ll get better at slowly returning back to the present moment and not following every thought.

I'm pregnant - will OML still be supportive for me?

Ohhh YES!

During pregnancy we prepare for so much – getting the baby clothes, preparing for birth, setting up the cot (the list is long!) BUT if we all spent a little more time in preparation for what lays ahead mentally and emotionally I firmly believe we’d enter motherhood with a little more ease and a lot less shock.

Everything we share and discuss in OML is applicable and can be seen as ‘mind-spirit’ training for mamas-to-be.
