This is an old blog series that I started way back in this blog’s infancy. But, there are SO many things I’m loving at the moment that I thought I’d resurrect it and share with you all. I’m all about embracing the positives, a glass-half-full kinda gal, live and love in the moment, being grateful. This is wellness. It’s not just the food I eat but what I do, how I do it, my experiences, my interactions, my ‘me’ time, my authenticity.

So here goes… 5 things I’m loving right now.

1) Summer sessions

Once a week a friend and I get together for some sun, fun and silliness. We head to Bondi for a coastal walk before a sauna + swim session at icebergs. It helps remind me that life is amazing and it should be easy and effortless. Being out in the sunshine resets me, no matter what kind of week I’ve had. Not to mention that I’m spending time with a beautiful soul. I feel special that I get to carve out a chunk of time that’s all about doing the things I love. Swimming. Walking. Connecting. Breathing.

2) Grapefuit

Honestly, this is not a fruit I EVER reach for. The liver cleanse I am on is to blame. For the first week it was the only fruit (bar limes and lemons) that I was allowed. Now I am hooked. I love eating it with a spoon. It surprises me that it almost has zero fructose because it’s so sweet and summery! Did I mention that this is really good for your liver?


3) The best body scrub ever

You might have read not so long ago about the amazing Ka Huna massage I had at the Sydney Ka Huna Centre in Paddington. Well, I also got my hot little hands on this number… offiically THE BEST body scrub ever. You can see on the pic the ingredients and I tell you, that doesn’t come close to doing it justice. It is so effective, but gorgeous to use and not harsh at all.


4) Getting organised

Yep, I’ve always been a super-organised freak… but over the years I’ve relaxed alot so that I’m just diligent about the things that matter. Right now, I’m loving getting my head clear about the year that I want. No more waiting, it’s time to create!


5) Sunrise

I’m a morning gal, always have been. But with two trips OS (Bali and India) towards the end of 2012 I almost lost my routine of rising by 5:30am. I had to be a little gentle with myself to ease back into the routine but now I’m back baby! Nothing makes my heart sing more than the electric glow of orange, purple, pink and red that shines through my bedroom each morning. I feel WHOLE when I wake with the sun. Thank you universe. Thank you for all the beauty!


There’s more. It’s actually hard to limit myself to five… but hey, there’s always next week!

  1. I also love the things you're loving this week. I discovered your blog this year and it has inspired me to write my own 2013 aspirations and intentions and I feel amazing getting my mind and attitude ready for my year (my first year of marriage, my first year as a teacher). I am off to buy a Vitamix today so I am loving that, fresh organic produce, spring cleaning and the clarity it brings, spending time with my hubby before we go back to work, and returning to yoga! Namaste xx
