Manifesting in the new year + Get your roadmap to happy

Posted January 03, 2017

Manifesting is the buzz word at the moment, isn’t it? It’s the latest craze and personally, I’m all for it. Why the hell not – I mean, the word is empowering, it’s about creation, isn’t it? And why shouldn’t we be creating the life that we want? To me, manifesting is about bringing something (experience, person, attitude, situation) to the forefront – shining a light on your dreams, amplifying your desires and getting shiny-diamond clear. I say ‘forefront’ because what you truly desire, that is for your own growth, already exists… it’s just hanging out in the shadows, waiting to be called forth. It can only be called forth through you – your WILL. Nothing will ever happen without your permission. Manifesting is about realising that within you is the ultimate resource (your own vibrational energy) for attracting what you wan, as soon as you are ready, willing and able. This time of year with intentions and soulful goals flying around, the energy is almost electrified. Most of the yoga classes I am teaching at the moment are packed – a roomful of yogis with hopeful dreams of bendy asana, quiet minds and devoted practice. The point is, this time of year is the right time to really tap into the power of manifestation. It’s not rocket science, but it does take focused awareness and loving attention. In today’s VLOG I guide you through manifestation. A few things I’d like to highlight for you: I share with you what I used to think about manifesting I talk about the energy within us and how this is integral to getting what we want I talk through why (real) manifesting has to be in alignment with your truth, not your surface level desires. I talk about how you already have what you want + how lack perpetuates lack I share a personal example of how I am harnessing the power of manifestation right now I offer up some simple examples of how to manifest When you’ve finished watching the vlog I’d love to hear how YOU manifest or how you are planning on creating + attracting what your soul desires this year? Share below in the comments! ++ So, you want to manifest a beautiful life? Let me ask you this…do you have your roadmap to happy? How will you navigate towards joy and balance in Mind-Body-Soul? Do you feel equipped to map out your pathway to a year of joy, balance, happiness, success? Do you have the tools you need? Are you ready to take the inspired action to create happiness? This year I am doing something new and oh-so juicy and special. Starting early February, I’ll be holding circle in an intimate group coaching program: Your Roadmap to Happy: 10 Week Online Group Immersion into your Mind-Body-Soul I want to work with YOU, specifically on arming you up with the right tools and knowledge to create your ROADMAP TO HAPPINESS – in Mind, Body and Soul. Do you have your Roadmap to Happy?

Do you have your Roadmap to Happy?

Posted December 28, 2016

We are almost there, 2016 – a challenging year for so many of us – has almost come to a close. Which can only mean ONE thing. A new year. A new opportunity. A new way. A new season. What do you want this year to be, for you? How do you want to feel? What’s important to you? For me, there is always something that LEADS the way each year. It might be my health, or business or family. True to form a ‘HERO’ focus comes into the light – one thing that I can’t ignore and must sink my teeth into. But over the years I’ve learned that I must pay attention to the full circle of my being too –  Mind-Body-Soul. So when I’m tuning into intentions/resolutions/soul-ful goals I always ask myself this question; “What is the roadmap to HAPPINESS for this year? How will I navigate towards joy and balance in Mind-Body-Soul” I chew on this questions. I feel into my being. In turn, I create my own personal roadmap to happiness. It might be that I need to study more, do a workshop, get more tools to support me. Or perhaps I need more quiet, inner peace, space. Or movement, breath, meditation. Maybe all of it, at different times. ++ So let me ask you this; what is YOUR roadmap to happiness? What does it look like? Do you feel equipped to map out your pathway to a year of joy, balance, happiness, success? Do you have the tools you need? Are you ready to do what needs to be done to reach happiness? (It’s not something that just HAPPENS we have to take inspired action!) ++ This year I’ve decided to do something different. I’ve decided I want to work with YOU, specifically on arming you up with the right tools and knowledge to create your ROADMAP TO HAPPINESS – in Mind, Body and Soul. I’m doing something I’ve never done before but am thrilled to bring this offering to you. It’s going to be potent, immersive, empowering. I’m doing this because part of my personal roadmap is to serve and connect and change lives. Starting early February, I’ll be holding circle with an intimate group in my new coaching program: Your Roadmap to Happy: 10 Week Online Group Immersion into your Mind-Body-Soul ++ I’ll be sharing more in the coming week. For now just tune in –  if you feel the TUG to work with me, in a very small group and be immersed in all things Mind-Body-Soul, shoot me an email (claire (at) thewellnessproject.net.au) or book in a call to discuss. If you are ready to seek out at capture the happiness you so deserve then this program – Your Roadmap to Happy – is for you. CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE Claire xx P.s Start date is February 5th. This is strictly capped to 5-8 people max and might be the only way to ‘coach’ with me for a while. Save Save Read more

Endings and Beginnings: Reflecting on 2016 before entering 2017

Endings and Beginnings: Reflecting on 2016 before entering 2017

Posted December 18, 2016

Here I am…tapping away on my laptop. It’s almost dark and I’m sitting here on my bed with only a Himalayan Salt Lamp on; casting a warm, womb-like glow across the room. Big fat wet tears rolling down my face, pooling at my lips, soaking back into my skin. I can barely see through these tears…Yet I knew I had to open up my laptop and write. All week I’ve been feeling this bubbling up of emotion. The inner cauldron of all my truths, thoughts, feelings and experiences amping up from a slow, gentle simmer to the raise-the-lid kinda boil. The kind of boil that will inevitably spill over into a watery mess if I don’t turn my gaze to and respond quickly enough. And sure enough, despite the sign-posts all week the latter has happened. I didn’t have the space and time to ‘go there’ – you know, to cast my attention to that simmering feeling. So here I am… here I am a watery, blubbery mess. [Side note: oh wow, does it feels good to FEEL like this. To feel vulnerable and overwhelmed with emotion. It makes me feel alive and connected and tapped in – always has] The things that have set me off all week – tender moments between baby and dada. A random act of kindness from a stranger in the street. A generous exchange. Watching a mama hug her injured child in Aleppo. Hugging my dear friend and saying Merry Christmas – have all pointed to connection, the power of the tribe, gratitude and the simplicity of love. Powerful, universal sorta stuff. But what set off this moment, right now, the avalanche of tears and the impossible-to-contain soul speak in the form of FEELING? My nanny just wrote to me to say she was no longer able to work with us (due her own personal career goals). #firstworldproblems Then IT all just hit me. This year has been so challenging and yet so unbelievably beautiful. (Side note: I had originally written “so fucking hard” but perspective whacked me in the face and I had to dial it back!) I’ve created so much. I’ve barely slept. I’ve nagged and argued about nonsensical shit with my sleep deprived husband. I’ve started a new business. I’ve coached divine women through their blocks and fears. I consciously worked on healing myself energetically, emotionally, physically, mentally. I’ve done things I never thought I would, or could. I said YES without reason, just a feeling. I’ve grown a team and watched them grow too. I’ve learned that I don’t know what it means to be a leader. I’ve decided to lead with love and serve wholeheartedly. I’ve felt so much mama-guilt. I’ve felt so much mama joy, love, elation. I’ve faced so many fears, slowly. I’ve watched parts of me fall away and dissolve. I’ve surrendered. Over and over and over again. I’ve found my feminine power – fierce warrior mama within. I’ve fallen in love with parts of me I didn’t notice before. I’ve juggled coaching, creativity, business around tantrums and toddler tactics. I’ve stared at my forever changed body and swung from love, to admiration to disgust and back to love. I’ve stared at my forever guy and cried tears of gratitude for him minutes after crying tears at frustration over him. I’ve meditated. Daily. Committed to stillness, daily. I’ve moved and stretched and breathed. I’ve set goals and failed at them, and reset them over and over until I nailed it. I’ve held my baby sick and feverish feeling equal parts scared and supremely blessed. I’ve failed at being the perfect mama/wife so many times – forgetting to cook dinner, turning the TV on too many times, letting my frustration take the driver seat. I rocked motherhood too… often. I’ve battled to stay in my centre, to be calm, to stay strong when sometimes it all just felt too much. I’ve watched my dad getting older, weaker, sicker. I’ve felt the love and support my mother always delivers. I’ve cried tears of happiness watching my little girl play with her cousins, something I never had. I discovered some shit about myself I’m grateful I can now see, but that hurt to look at. I raged. I cried. I fell apart. I cracked. I put myself back together and said ‘Let’s DO this’. I prayed many times for relief and peace. And then accepted when I didn’t get it. I found a circle, a sisterhood, a tribe where we honour shame, vulnerability, joy, success and dreams. Like I said, a really big, hard, beautiful, FULL, messy year. ++ I am a deeply changed woman. Motherhood… life, it’s eroded the old me and reshaped me much faster than any other experience has in my life. I feel more than I’ve ever felt. I think more than I have ever. I worry more. Pray more. Strive and thrive more. I fail more. I’m more considered and conscious. I dig deeper than I ever have and insist on MORE from the universe. I love more than I thought was possible. I care about people, this earth. And yet with all of that I also feel more overwhelmed, futile, and held back than I ever have. My eyes are more open and so is my heart. EVERYTHING is dialled right up. My desire to create change, my desire to find balance and to help others heal. My desire for abundance and for financial success and stability. My need to hide away and hush the world. My desire to make a difference. My desire for a humble life with my sweet little family. My desire to GO BIG and chase my dreams. I feel all of it….My need to make this life matter, to honour the gift of this life and do it justice. To live up to my soul purpose and to do so with authenticity and love. As I write this there is a small voice in the back of my […] Read more

How resilient are you?

How resilient are you?

Posted November 27, 2016

how resilient are you? It’s been a few weeks now since Om Mama Love launched and I’m feeling all those sweet grateful vibes – as each new mama joins us I get that delightful wash of warmth flood my heart. Knowing that they have chosen to put their self-care needs first and dive into spirituality (done the easy way!) is precisely why I created Om Mama Love. (Scroll down if you don’t know what I’m talking about!) ++ Since the launch I’ve also really loved taking a step out from the ‘creative-cave’. I gave myself permission to switch off from that space and just let it roll-out. That’s what happens when you put in the hard work and attention to detail BEFOREHAND – everything was set-up so I could let my gaze and attention fall elsewhere. Because sometimes, no matter how much we love something (a project, a creation, a person!) we need space away from it. To appreciate it. To switch off from it (or them!). To fall in love with it again. ++ Speaking of handwork, I want to touch on something my beautiful and wise friend Tara Bliss shared on Snapchat (PLEASE follow her if you aren’t already. She is a living, breathing spark of magic). Resilience.  Tenacity. Digging Deep. Following through. Dedication. Commitment. Hard- freaking-work. Why are so many of us adverse to doing it? Why do so many of us quit when it gets tough? Why do we back out when ‘stuff’ is not happening at the speed and energy we expect it to? And who are we to judge as to how it should happen and by when?? Where did we get the idea that GOOD stuff happens only to a few good people AND that it has to ALWAYS be easy and effortless. Get this (here are my disclaimers). 1) Yes, sometimes good stuff does happen easily and effortless – it’s called IN THE FLOW and god it feels good, but that doesn’t mean it’s the ONLY right way. 2) I’m not about glorifying BUSY and hard work to make ourselves feel bigger, inflated, better. No no, this is NOT about that. This is about toughening up a little and digging your heels in when your vision is bigger than the desire to quit. Tara shared in her snapchat that she put in some serious (and still does) hard work in the early days of entrepreneurship. She spoke of how she built her coaching business in a small, hot sweaty room and worked hours chipping away. I know this for a fact; she wouldn’t have loved every moment, nor would it have always been easy. And guess what, THAT IS OK! I know this for a fact because I went through the same thing. Chipping away in a small room (yes, my room was hot and sweat-inducing too! Ha!). ALONE for hours a day trying to figure out this online/marketing/coaching world. No tribe or team to answer my questions. Just a freaking soulful goal insight and a whole lotta passion and drive. And I’m here again now. Juggling two businesses with MULTIPLE layers to them around a toddler, a husband, a home and my own needs. I’m here resiliently and tenaciously (with respect of the moon, my cycle, the ebb and flow of life!) chipping away again. WHY? Why? WHY do we stick it out?…BECAUSE OUR WHY MATTERS. YOUR WHY is the thing that brings you to tears when you tune into it. Or fires you up with an unstoppable drive. If you haven’t tapped into that my love, then no wonder hard work is scary. It a why that is connected to how you want to feel in your life – and if you know what why/that feeling/that goal is going to lead you to a more joyful, content, happy place than that is worth pursuing.  Disclaimer 3) If your goal is buying a house, or saving to travel, or building or empire – the size doesn’t matter, it’s whatever means something to you! And as Tara said in her snaps “Why THE HELL would you quit now??” Just because you can’t see the fruits of your labour born yet doesn’t mean they won’t be. And they sure as hell WON’T be if you quit now – just because it got hard. When it gets hard our ego fires up with the loudest voice possible; “Oh maybe this ISN’T right for you?” “Did you consider you’re not cut out for this?” “Other people will succeed but you won’t?” Better still is when our ego masks itself as our ‘spiritual voice’ saying things like “This intuitively doesn’t feel right anymore” Or “This pathway is not aligned with your truth” Disclaimer 4) YES our inner voice can often say those things and they are spot on. But you’re job is to feel into whether that’s your truth speaking or your ego. Hint: generally, your ego is a much more obvious and intense voice. Our intuition speaks in a subtler language and tends to use signs, symbols, guideposts and sensations. When you follow through, when you CHOOSE RESILIENCE (and flow, and intuition and inspired action) you WILL reach your dreams. You will find that space of abundance, success, and achievement. ++ So here’s my thought; think back to a time when you were resilient – and look at what they created/delivered offered up. When were you your most tenacious, determined self and what fruits did it offer up? As we near the end of 2016 and our minds and hearts steer us towards the dreams, desires, goals and feelings we want to nurture in 2017 ask yourself if you are ready to harness the power of resilience when you need to. love + light, Claire x Read more

Om Mama Love is HERE

Om Mama Love is HERE

Posted November 01, 2016

Om Mama Love is here! Love. Indescribable, chest-bursting, unconditional love. It’s the life-force that beats the heart of every mama. Some might call it an ‘irrational’ force –why else would we love so fiercely through sickness, sore boobs and sleep deprivation?! But once you’re a mama, and you’ve held your baby in your arms – heck, even before that, when you simply feel that flutter of life in your belly – that tiny, light-filled being becomes your everything. And love? Well, it becomes your default state of being. Mamas are the queens of love – we dish it out every minute. We teach with love… cook with love… wash and fold tiny clothes with love… Heck, we even clean our houses with love. Love is why we wipe away snotty noses, accept sticky fingers all over our fresh T-shirt, and put everything on hold when our bubs are unwell. We push through everything – pain, long days, sleepless nights – with a warm flame burning within, because the love makes it all worth it. To be clear, we don’t do these things because we have to, we do them because we want to. Because, with our entire mind-body-soul, we want nothing more than to ensure the health and happiness of the child gifted to us by the Universe. But. (Yes, there’s a but!) But sometimes, with all this love pouring forth, we can end up feeling like there’s nothing left to give. All that energy directed outwards can leave us feeling depleted and dried up. So we dig deeper, and sure enough we find more love from somewhere – who knows where – to dish out. But it becomes more and more tainted with our exhaustion, our frustration, our short temper. Worse still, the more we scrape the sides of the barrel for more love to give, the less there is for us. We take from our own resources. But the truth, beautiful mama, is that if we want to keep love at the centre of *this* – the most rewarding and challenging job we’ve ever had – we have to make a change. We have to do the one thing that we never think to, or even want to, but that will make the most profound difference… Just as we fill up our babies and families with love, we have to start filling up ourselves. Relying on others to do the job for us won’t cut it. When we expect others to fill us up – to love us up – we soon come to realise that this sort of love will only go so far. It will only go deep enough to take the edge off, not to soothe and balm it at the source. We soon come to realise that as mamas, the love we need in order to give has to be of the pure variety: it must be clean and strong, and it must be something we can call on whenever we need it. Love on tap… And the only, only way to get this kind of love? Is to give it to yourself. It might sound counter-intuitive at first – especially for women who are used to putting themselves last – but filling yourself with love can actually be the most powerful act of motherhood. Why? Because when you do, you’ll be giving to those around you – including your bubba – from the overflow. From the excess. With love to spare. It’s all about filling your own self-love cup. It’s about loving yourself MORE than you think you deserve, and then even more still. Keeping it full so there’s plenty to go around. It’s all about the self-love, my beautiful mama. The Spiritual Self Love. Love, mama, love. It’s all about loving you so that you can perform the most important job on earth with grace and gratitude. With joy and magic threaded through even the worst moments. The struggle hours. And nobody can FILL you up the way you need, better than YOU. BUT… and here’s the second but… How are you meant to fill yourself up with love when you’ve barely got time to pee? Gone (for now) are the days when you could slip off for a sneaky pedicure. Or luxuriate in a long bubble bath. (Self-care? What’s that?!) And as for spiritual stuff, that 3-hour yoga and meditation workshop, or those regular kinesiology appointments you used to love – they happen alot less.  Let alone spend all night sipping tea with your soul sisters, sharing stories, crystals and oracle cards. In this new phase you find yourself in, it’s not a grand gesture you’re craving, it’s a daily pillar. Filling your tank isn’t about spiritual fireworks and weekends away, it’s about finding stillness and connection in amongst your normal daily mama moments – the mundane ones and the magnificent ones and even the I-think-I’m-gonna-cry ones. And guess what, I have something to help you find that thing you’re looking for; that feeling you’ve been craving… Welcome to the Om Mama Love Membership. Speaking the right love language

Speaking the right love language

Posted October 17, 2016

Speaking the right love language is saving my marriage Ok, so that’s a bit dramatic. We aren’t even close to splitting up, but let’s just say this; if we had let things continue as they were, it would’ve eventually become a slippery slide ride into splitsville. Sleep deprivation. Busy lives. Work pressures. Zero alone time. That is not a good recipe for a happy marriage. And that was a hard fact to face up to considering we’ve always had an effortless, cruisy and love-filled relationship. It’s confusing you know, becoming parents you experience the MOST divine love ever. Filling up on the ecstasy that together we created and birthed a beautiful little being. OUR LOVE DID THAT. Yet, that very same experience is what creates distance. Not by choice, no way. But survival mode kicks in. Things to do. Stuff to create. Responsibilities we never had before. Adjusting to so much change. So after a few weeks of constant niggling, and whinging and more ‘disconnecting’ from each other than I could bare without bursting into tears I said enough. Time for change. One night over dinner I pulled out Gary Chapman’s ‘The Five Love Languages’. A book I’d read and adored years ago. Chris and I had taken the test inside to find out what each other’s main ‘love language was’. I decided we need to revisit that and make a conscious effort to start speaking each other’s language. == So much had changed. What used to be my ‘language’ was no more. The same for him. We’d evolved and our needs had too. He desired more quality time and I needed words of ‘affirmation’ (something I’d never needed before). He wanted more one-on-one time with me to laugh and talk. I needed to hear compassionate words of love and support, and even encouragement. ++ Overnight things have changed. We are so aware. Conscious. Engaged. Reconnected. We even went on a date. Woah. We have both placed each other front and centre. Such a small shift, such a huge impact. == So here I am re-inspired. Falling in love again. Feeling empowered that I can make a positive impact and take inspired action for more LOVE, CONNECTION and JOY. Maybe this will inspire you to reach for the same? love + light Claire Read more
